Spring in Knoxville brings a wide variety of events to enjoy in this beautiful weather. If you are visiting in advance of moving here, take in an event while you are here to experience local culture, art and music.   • Asian Pacific American Heritage Month – Free

The Asian Culture Center of Tennessee invites you to experience an Asian Rich Fashion Arts and Culture exhibit! The Asian Culture Center of Tennessee is exhibiting our costumes at the Knox County Office 6F in the City County Building.

  • Bluegrass Jamboree at Ijams Nature Center – $5, $8, $30

Dance the night away with Ijams Nature Center and the East Tennessee Bluegrass Association at the first Bluegrass Jamboree of 2021 on May 13 from 6-8 pm! This event takes place on the lawn at the Visitor Center. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The Ijams beer garden will be open and a local food truck will be on property for all your dining needs. Space is limited to 200 people to ensure proper distancing. Masks are required at check-in and inside the Visitor Center, and guests are asked to physically distance on the hillside. Doors open 30 minutes before show begins.

  • Firefly Nights in Market Square – Free

Take an evening stroll through Market Square and enjoy Firefley Nights! 12,000 lights will sparkle overhead from dusk to dawn through the end of June.
